CAD-to-BIM Translator is a technology demonstration of translating 3D CAD geometry and critical product metadata from the Creo Parametric™ 3D modeling software from PTC, a popular mechanical CAD tool, into the Autodesk Revit software, one of the most widely used tools for BIM and architectural design. It helps unify different, non-compatible file formats as a result of varying design needs that mechanical engineers and architects have.
